Tamia visit

 

It was so fun having Tamia and her kids come visit us!  We went on a Seattle adventure with her, Julie and all our kids.  We went to the top of the space needle and saw some amazing views and the rotating glass floor.  Ash was nervous but totally impressed me and did great.  I was a bit nervous too!  Then we took the monorail to downtown to see the gum wall and Pike Place Market.  After that Ash and I headed to Julie's house for a BBQ and the kids swam for hours together!  I haven't seen Tamia in four years, it was so great to catch up and it was like no time had passed.

Summer Adventures (July)

New pool, paddle boarding, morning jogs, day trip to Kingston, Storm game, dinner with Jeff and Diane in Greenlake, and more!

Annual Bainbridge Trip

 Love this tradition!  Can't believe how grown up all the kids are looking!

Minnesota Trip

 Minnesota was full of fun adventures!  We went to The Mall of America, Mani's and Pedis for the ladies. arcade and mini golf for the boys, rented a platoon boat, and even stayed one night at Great Wolf Lodge!  Ashton and Elijah were instant buddies and got along great.  Gemma loved being with Colbie and was her little shadow.  We also had some great meals and a beautiful sunset on the water.

Junebug, Mable and Tutu

These adorable siblings came to us at just 5 weeks old and were all pretty social and snuggly right away (Junebug was a little shy at first).  They ended up having some medical issues and really put us to work at fostering!  Junebug had some anxiety form the travel here from California and was obsessively scratching which led to an abscess; so she needed antibiotics and hot compresses often.  Pour tutu had an anal prolapse which ended up needing multiple surgeries and he needed laxatives, anal cream, and butt soaks.  We loved having them (this time for almost a month).  Even Jon got attached as he was caretaker for three days while the kids and I went to Vancouver.  We all had our fav kitty (me-tutu, jon-junebug, both kids-mable) and are glad they're now healthy and in their forever home!
