New Phone

I'm so happy to have a new phone and be able to take pictures of my kids on the go again!

Most of these pictures were taken at Colbie's school.  Ashton loves playing around outside and watching all the kids and buses arrive.

Grandma Ryan

We will miss you greatly Grandma Ryan, but know you're finally at peace.  She has been battling Alzheimer's for nearly 15 years and we believe she's in a much happier place now.

Vancouver Birthday Party

We had a very low key birthday party in Vancouver for Ashton, mostly so the cousins (and Grandma) could celebrate his first birthday.  It was pretty much the trip from hell.  Colbie came down with pneumonia the night of the party and we spent Sunday at Urgent Care.  Luckily Ashton had a great time and enjoyed lots of attention from everyone but me ( I was with Colbie).  We are so lucky he's such a happy, easy-going guy.  We got a few great pics of the kids before Colbie felt totally miserable and a few pics of Ashy enjoying his cupcake.  He even wore his party hat this time.

Is it Spring Yet?

Our family had a rough month. We are finally all feeling better.  Here's our month of sicknesses (the shortened version).

Colbie: Stomach flu, cold, Urgent Care with a sinus infection and pneumonia (antibiotics)
Ashy: Two colds and an ear infection (antibiotics)
Jaime: Urgent Care for an allergic reaction around eyes (prednisone), two colds, allergic reaction returns (zyrtec and hydrocortisone cream)
Jon:  Two colds, Urgent Care for a sinus infection (antibiotics)

An expensive and miserable month!

Ashton's First Birthday Party

After being sick for two weeks including an ear infection, Ashton recovered just in time for his birthday party.  It was a huge success.  We rented a mini gym and birthday room at Renton Community Center.  The gym was complete with a bouncy house, toys and lots of balls (Ashton's favorite).  He loved watching the chaos from all the kids and pointed at everything saying "ball" over and over and over again.  I think the older kids had a good time too.  Ashton LOVED his cupcake (we new he would), but hated his birthday hat.  Of course it was a Monkey theme since we have called him our "Chunky Monkey" from day 1.

We love you Chunky Monkey, Happy First Birthday!
