Pumpkin Patch

It was almost 70 degrees while we were at the Pumpkin Patch, we loved it!  The farm was great too, they had people riding horses all around, corn to play in, animals, a bouncy house, tractor rides and much more.

Colbie would not go near the insides of the pumpkin, but Ashy loved it.

Colbie's First Day of Preschool

Colbie's first day of preschool, finally!  We are super excited that we finally got into one of the schools we were hoping for, Meadow Crest Early Learning Center.  It's just one mile from our house.  It's an inclusive preschool program, similar to the EEU and meets Monday-Thursday from 1:15-3:45pm.  Yay for Colbie and for Mom!!!

I couldn't help myself, I like all the pics for different reasons:)

9 Months

Ashton is completely fearless and gets bruises daily.  He can stand without help for a few seconds and has already mastered The Walker and loves crawling up the stairs.  My baby boy is growing up way to fast!
-Has two cute little teeth
-Loves playing peek a boo, hides his face with toys/clothes and then pops out smiling
-Loves music and has started dancing, he  bobs up and down and waves his arms around
-Loves darting right for the bathroom/toilet and thinks its hysterical when we tell him "no"
-Needs Daddy to hold him as soon as he gets home from work and loves Daddy to throw him up in the air and onto the couch (Mommy doesn't love this)
-Has good pincher skills, although he can't eat solid foods without getting constipated and worsening spit up
-Ate and spit up a sticker recently, oops
-Loves to watch Colbie perform, "play" in her room, and take baths in the big tub with her
-Still doesn't have a consistent sleep schedule

9 Month Stats:
Weight: 18 pounds 13 ounces (35th percentile)
Height: 29 inches (78th percentile)
Head: 17.75 inches (53rd percentile)

Unfortunately Ashton has not gained any weight the past 3 months, so our doctor referred us to a GI specialist at Children's Hospital.  He continues to spit up tons and is unable to tolerate any solid food.

Colbie 3.5

Colbie has been asking for months when she turns 3.5, the day finally arrived and she is thrilled!  She is always wanting to be older and acts quite grown up for her age.  She is our constant talking, sweet sister, definite leader, cautious, girly-girl. We love her dearly and are so lucky to have her!

-Wants a playmate at all times
-Loves to learn new things and go new places
-Loves reading books and making up her own stories
-Chooses Doc McStuffins any time TV is an option, but wants all things Frozen
-Loves her brother dearly, works so hard to make him laugh and can't wait until he says "sissy-boo"
-Always performing.  Dancing, singing, microphone and dress up attire all necessary
-She is very curious about everything, never stops asking questions and has a great memory
-Loves imaginary play, princesses, making "cookies" out of play dough, art projects, play dates with friends, story time at the library, and ballet
-Still terrible at sharing (especially with her brother), can be quite bossy and is always negotiating

Little Walker

Cruising on the Walker already, slow down baby boy!

Story Time

Ashy loves story time at the library as much as Colbie does.  They both sit happily for 30 minutes, I love it.

Siblings Playing

These two definitely wear me out, but lately I have been seeing them play together (sort of) and it makes me so happy.  Colbie works so hard to get him to giggle for her.

Frozen Meet and Greet

Dreams really do come true.....  The Cougar Mountain Zoo had a meet and greet with Elsa and Anna.  Colbie was able to spend about 45 min with the girls, it really was amazing for her.  She was totally star struck at first but after watching other kids talk to them and get their pics taken she started opening up.  Elsa and Anna took a group of kids to meet and feed Sven the reindeer and she loved it.  She stood right next to them the entire time.  She could have stayed their all day....we pretty much did, we were slightly stalker-ish, we even followed Elsa to bathroom.  Don't judge.  It was a Mommy-Daughter day and we both had so much fun.

When we first arrived

After spending the day with them (in the rain)

Wednesday Play Dates

We are so grateful for our Wednesday morning play dates with these great kids and their moms. Charlotte, Reese, Indi, and Colbie were all in class together at the EEU.  Colbie doesn't go to the EEU anymore so we are very thankful to still see these families so often.
