The Sounders Cup in Tukwila was such a fun tournament. It was scorching hot, but the girls played amazing and took first place! They improved so much from their last tournament. They won the final game in a shoot out, it was super exciting! Colbie was up to kick next, but didn't need to.

My mom came to visit a few weeks after surgery to entertain us and help out. It was so great to get out of the house a bit and enjoy the great weather! Colbie realized she is now taller than Ahma! At her 12 year check up we learned she has grown 4 inches this year!
Colbie graduated from Edmonds Elementary and is headed to
Meadowdale Middle School next year! I
can't believe she will be in 7th grade and in Middle School! She is ready for the adventure. After the graduation ceremony she went to a
pool party at her friends house with all her buddies, so fun!
Colbie is so lucky to have gone through elementary school
with this amazing group of girls. They
are a small group (only about 25 girls in her grade each year) but a great
group. Many of her buddies she has been
with for 7 years, since Kindergarten! It
has been so fun to watch them grow up together.
They are such close friends with nearly no drama. It is such a bummer that Edmonds Elementary
gets split between middle schools.
Colbie will really miss seeing these girls each day!
Third time's a charm.
Colbie has tried out for FC Edmonds select soccer three times and
thankfully this year she made the team!
So proud of her for not giving up!
Now let the traveling, tournaments, carpooling, cheering, and training begin, oh my.

We FINALLY made it back to Great Wolf Lodge with the cousins. These four kids had a blast and never want their time together to end. It is so nice we have reached the age (even around water ) that the adults could mostly sit and chat and relax and check in with the kiddos from time time!
