Ashy 10 months

-The reflux medication is amazing, his spit-up is much better.  His appointment at Children's Hospital went well, they were not too concerned, commented on his happy personality and "healthy" body.  We went back for a weight check and he had gained almost 1 pound in two weeks which everyone was happy with.
-He loves eating real food and his digestive system is finally keeping up.  Still needs prunes every day.  Loves raspberries, blueberries, waffles, and Daddy's banana pancakes
-Has started pointing.  Points at something and says "oooo".  He wants us to carry him around and let him touch everything
-Has a love-hate relationship with Christmas trees.  Wants to see them, but giggles and would rather not touch them (hopefully he stays away from ours, but I doubt it).
-Is starting to understand some language, which is so fun!
-When he gets close to the bathroom or other places he's not aloud, he stops, looks back at us, nods his head "no," smiles, and keeps going.
-Changing his diaper is brutal for everyone involved
-Stands on his own often but no steps yet
-Loves music and dancing, especially to the Doc McStuffins theme song (he hears it a lot)
-Gives the BEST kisses, you can ask him for a kiss and he opens his mouth very wide, leans in, and says "ahhhhh"
-Has the cutest open mouth smile, loves playing crawl-chase with Colbie, talks constantly and is quite loud, not a big fan of books, is a total bruiser.  Has no fear and usually hits his head at least once a day.  Luckily he recovers well.

Blankie

Ashy has a new love, his blanket.  I have tried introducing many blankets to help sooth him at bedtime but no other blanket did the trick.  The first time I offered this blanket he fell in love.  It's so sweet how quickly he became attached to his blankie.  It has made nap time and bedtime more enjoyable for everyone.  He rubs the blue part around the edges and lays his head onto the blanket.  I cannot remember who gave him this to him, but thank you!

Halloween

We went trick or treating at Amazon again this year.  Colbie loved seeing Daddy's work and meeting all his work friends.  We also went to a few houses in our neighborhood.  Colbie loved spraying her hair black to be Doc McStuffins and has asked many times if she can have black hair for Christmas as well.  Grandma Deb was here for the weekend so she was able to go trick or treating with the kids and offer lots of help to Jon and I.

We also had a costume party at Reese's house, its become a super fun tradition.

Pumpkin Patch

It was almost 70 degrees while we were at the Pumpkin Patch, we loved it!  The farm was great too, they had people riding horses all around, corn to play in, animals, a bouncy house, tractor rides and much more.

Colbie would not go near the insides of the pumpkin, but Ashy loved it.

Colbie's First Day of Preschool

Colbie's first day of preschool, finally!  We are super excited that we finally got into one of the schools we were hoping for, Meadow Crest Early Learning Center.  It's just one mile from our house.  It's an inclusive preschool program, similar to the EEU and meets Monday-Thursday from 1:15-3:45pm.  Yay for Colbie and for Mom!!!

I couldn't help myself, I like all the pics for different reasons:)

9 Months

Ashton is completely fearless and gets bruises daily.  He can stand without help for a few seconds and has already mastered The Walker and loves crawling up the stairs.  My baby boy is growing up way to fast!
-Has two cute little teeth
-Loves playing peek a boo, hides his face with toys/clothes and then pops out smiling
-Loves music and has started dancing, he  bobs up and down and waves his arms around
-Loves darting right for the bathroom/toilet and thinks its hysterical when we tell him "no"
-Needs Daddy to hold him as soon as he gets home from work and loves Daddy to throw him up in the air and onto the couch (Mommy doesn't love this)
-Has good pincher skills, although he can't eat solid foods without getting constipated and worsening spit up
-Ate and spit up a sticker recently, oops
-Loves to watch Colbie perform, "play" in her room, and take baths in the big tub with her
-Still doesn't have a consistent sleep schedule

9 Month Stats:
Weight: 18 pounds 13 ounces (35th percentile)
Height: 29 inches (78th percentile)
Head: 17.75 inches (53rd percentile)

Unfortunately Ashton has not gained any weight the past 3 months, so our doctor referred us to a GI specialist at Children's Hospital.  He continues to spit up tons and is unable to tolerate any solid food.
