Our Bolty Bear

We had to say good bye to our favorite furry friend.  At only five years old Bolty had an aggressive form of lymphoma cancer which attacked his spleen.  We noticed him feeling off on a Tuesday and he passed away by Saturday (Nov 15th).  It was an extremely difficult day for our family.  We miss him very much.

What we will remember about him....

He loved everyone he met, he greeted you at the door with great excitement (often bringing us his wobbler).  He was a herder of ALL things, he was always stealing socks and stuffed animals,  he had endless energy and excitement, he was a constant worrier and protector, he hated fireworks, was a kitty lover and a huge licker.  He was who the kids wanted when they were sad.   Had adorable eyebrows and one little blond tail hair that was longer than the rest.  He was huge a butt wiggler and cute splooter.  Love you Bolt (Bolty Bear, fluffy, frisky, princess).

Christmas Day

We had a relaxing Christmas day at home filled with opening gifts, crepes and quiche, puzzling, looking at Christmas lights and a steak dinner.  Ash was recovering from the flu and took a long nap on the couch, thankfully the next morning he was improving and able to enjoy his Christmas gifts.

White Christmas

We continued our tradition of ugly sweaters and crazy games.  It was so fun to see baby Rainn enjoying the chaos; he is so sweet and absolutely adorable!

Foster Cat Herb

We fostered an adult cat this time.  They think he was about 5 or 6 years old and was found outside.  He was pretty shy at first, spending most of the time under the bed, but eventually settled in and was so sweet.  He loved to be pet and would do rolls while getting pet.  He eventually started following me around the house, was quite vocal, and was so soft and sweet! Adult cats are so easy!
