Valentines Day Songs (video)
Colbie had a speaking part (she announced one of the songs). Unfortunately I didn't get that on video, but did get a few songs. Of course she is front and center.
Valentines Day
We had a Valentines Day filled with lots of love! Colbie's class had a field trip to a retirement home where they performed six songs then passed out homemade Valentine cards and bracelets to the residents (It was so sweet). We also had a fun Valentine Party at Charlottes house, and of course got a few treats (including the Trolls movie) from Mom and Dad.

Afternoon Activities
Colbie has a very hard time transitioning home after school. So we started doing an "Afternoon Activity" (after she eats a full meal) and it has really been helping.
Thank you to the internet for endless cheap/easy educational fun!
A few of their favorites: Colorful Volcanoes, Rainbow Rice, Marshmallow Math, Toothpaste Painting, Paper Plate Spider Web, Popcorn-Dice Game, Valentine Bumble Bees.

Snow Day
Ashy really did not enjoy the snow this time (too cold and didn't want to wear warm clothes or gloves of course). But I did get a few happy pics of him before he started to freeze! Colbie loved it!
They played in this "Snow Fort" for hours happily (pretending to sleep, watching the snow, and making each other Valentines). I was so impressed!

"Big Boy School"
Ashy started "Big Boy School" last week. Its just a little drop-in Preschool Playtime at the Lynwood Rec Center one day a week. And although he'd rather be "at Kindergarten with Sissy" he seemed to like the idea of his own big boy school and did great on his first day. No tears, no concerns! Which means two hours of freedom for Mom!
They read books, have open play, art, playground time and a snack. So fun!

Outfit Gone Mad
It is a fight every day to get Ashy to wear pants and a coat. This was a compromise.
