Ashy tuns three

Ashton continues to be our sweet, happy, easy-going, snuggly boy.  He truly melts my heart, and will forever by my baby!

-He loves superheroes, pretend play (especially playing "bad guys"), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, "shooters", Legos, TV, and using scissors
-Dislikes wearing pants, long sleeves and jackets. Also does not like being outside if it's cold or being dirty
-Doing awesome with potty training and starting to put his own clothes on
-He has started wanting to do everything himself (other than eat)
-He's a terrible eater, super picky.  We often have to follow him around the house shoving bites into his mouth
-Favorite music: Trolls Soundtrack, Roar by Katy Perry and anything by Justin Bieber
-Has started writing his letter A on everything
-Gives the best snuggles ever and couldn't possibly be any sweeter
-Brings total joy and calmness to our family

We are so grateful for his kind heart and caring personality!  Happy Birthday Handsome!

Potty Success

I decided to wait until after the holidays and sneak potty training in just before Ashy turns 3.  My best idea ever! 
Day 1:  He spent drinking lots of juice and not wanting to leave the toilet (he didn't want to have an accident and get messy).  He also loved his Dollar Store toys and was very content playing them on the potty. 
Day 2: only 1 accident and in underwear all day
Day 3 and 4:  no accidents, in underwear all day, we have gone on a few outings, and he tells me when he needs to go.  Great Success! 

New Years

We had a low key New Years at home.  The kids enjoyed a small celebration very early and Jon and I were in bed by 10!
