Christmas

We spent the few days leading up to Christmas in Vancouver.  Its so fun to do Christmas with cousins!  The kids (and adults) had a blast.  We headed home on Christmas Eve to leave cookies out for Santa.  This was our first year being home on Christmas morning and not traveling.  We really enjoyed it!!  A lazy day opening presents, sitting by the fire, eating lots, staying in our pjs and playing with fun new toys.

Colbie loved having Ashy sleep in her lap.  She was all smiles and couldn't stop kissing his chubby cheeks!

Snaps and Stories

I participated in a photo Facebook group called Snaps and Stories. It encourages you to take 25 pics in the 25 days leading up to Christmas.  I'm so glad I did it!  It forced me to explore my camera settings and get more creative with shots and editing.  It was also a great learning experience for me to know when to take a quality shot with my big camera versus putting the camera down and enjoying the moment with my kids.
