Fall Art

Colbie's fall tree sums her up very well.  The leaves are lined up and color coordinated.  She did get something from me!

Pumpkin Patch

The kids loved everything about the Pumpkin Patch.  Jon and I loved that it was a sunny, 70 degree day which kept us mud free this year!

Pizza Lover

This guy loves food, but is not a fan of good manners!  He especially loves pizza, spaghetti, asparagus, mac n cheese, hot dogs, all fruit and squeezies.

Sibling Sleepover

Colbie was having some challenging behavior so we decided to do a little three strikes program.  If she reached three strikes in a day she couldn't watch a show before bed (she read books in her room instead).  She quickly turned it around and we started a reward program for when she received zero strikes in a day.  She choose the reward herself..... a sleep over in Ashy's room, adorable!

She has now earned two sleepovers (which means two weeks of no strikes) and absolutely loves sleeping in her brothers room.  Both nights they were up until 9, but were so happy and had a great time together.

Swimming Success (Video)

This video is a little old but I wanted to document Colbie's first experience with swim lessons.  She would not let a drop of water on her face before these lessons.  I was a little terrified when she started.  She was so brave and grew so much during these lessons.  Her actual "swimming skills" have a long way to go but I'm so impressed that she lost her fear of the water so quickly!
