Weddings

We had three weddings this summer and all three included a fun-filled night without kids!

My cousin Clair.  This wedding was 90 degrees, hot but fun.  Nichole, Casey and I all went together and left the kids and Dads at home.  Clair looked gorgeous!

Jon's really good friend Jeff who married his sweetheart Stacie.  Jon was the Best Man and did a great job planing the Bachelor Party (a weekend in Leavenworth) and doing the Best Man speech.  He also looked very handsome in his wedding attire.  We got a babysitter and enjoyed a date night filled with dancing!  It was 90 degrees for this wedding as well.

My cousin Hanna and her husband Kyle.  We had a double date night with Nichole and Phil and enjoyed a cool wedding outside.  Nichole caught the bouquet, so I'm thinking Nichole and Phil are next!

Camping

The weather this summer has been hot and amazing!  However, the one weekend we went camping it was cold and rainy.  We were pretty wet, got little sleep (thanks to Wynn crying most of the night and taking over my bed) but still managed to have fun.   The kids had a blast!  My kids loved the boat ride, playing in the dirt, trips with the Dads to the park, having a fire and eating smores.  Ashy was not a fan of his boots so had cold/wet feet most of the time but was a total champ and surprisingly slept great for both nap and bedtime,  A big thanks to my Dad and Joleen for cooking, cleaning, entertaining and wiring heat to our tent!

18 Month Stats

Ashton had a successful 18 month Well Check appointment.  He barely cried during the shots, repeatedly said "hi" to doctor Tyler, and LOVED the sucker and sticker he received.

Head Circumference: 19 inches (74th percentile)

Oh how I love summer!

We have been busy this summer and we're enjoying every minute of it!  

So far we have spent the day on Bainbridge Island seeing Sarah's new house, visited the Renton Fire Station, spent the day at Edmond's Beach with friends, and have enjoyed time at Renton River Days, the Amazon family picnic and Henry Moses Aquatic Center.  Also Colbie started swim lessons and is loving it.
